Kids explored the magic of Skittles rainbows, uncovered the science behind density with DIY lava lamps, and created secret messages using invisible ink. We also introduced them to robotics and coding with Ozobots and robotic arms, sparking curiosity and innovation. Each activity was designed to make STEM learning fun, interactive, and inspiring for young minds!
At St. Rita’s, we led an exciting STEM session filled with hands-on activities. The kids built DIY kaleidoscopes, exploring light and reflection, controlled robotic arms, learning about mechanics and engineering, and experimented with magnetic ferrofluid, discovering the wonders of magnetism. It was a fun and engaging day of creativity and discovery!
SEEK partnered with the YMCA for a hands-on STEM event where kids built wind-powered cars, explored density and reactions with DIY lava lamps, and experimented with Oobleck, a fluid that acts like both a solid and a liquid. The event sparked curiosity and excitement for STEM through interactive learning
Over 175 kids joined us for hands-on fun at iSpace Day! From making gooey slime and coding Ozobots to launching candy corn rockets and creating DIY lava lamps, we sparked curiosity and creativity in every experiment. Science has never been this fun!
Kicking off our first science station at the Indian Hill Church! This week, we introduced the campers to various experiments, including observing how different rocks react with vinegar and exploring why leaves change color—or stay green—during the winter.
SEEK is at the Madeira Farmer's Market on Thursdays from 4 PM-7 PM, depending on availability.
Round 2 of science at the Madeira Silverwood Church! This week, we introduced the campers to a variety of experiments, including observing how different rocks react with vinegar and exploring why leaves change color—or stay green—during the winter.
Exploring the wonders of physics and robotics! SEEK hosted Engineering Fun Under the Sun with The Madeira Public Library. We did activities including building marble roller coasters and launching catapults to programming Ozo Bots. We’re turning learning into an adventure!
