Science has proved that hands-on or multi-sensory learning can enhance the learning experience by helping students retain information longer than reading or lectures. We started SEEK in June of 2023 because STEM can be very lecture-heavy and may discourage many kids from pursuing it. We feel the more opportunities students receive in hands-on education, the better. (Left: SEEK's first event at the Madeira Presbyterian Church)
SEEK aims to inspire children to pursue a career in STEM by using fun, easily understandable, and hands-on activities that kids will genuinely enjoy. We aim to work with schools, summer camps, other nonprofit organizations, and others to give children a fascinating and insightful STEM experience.
